My Favorite Holiday

My favorite holiday would have to be Thanksgiving. Not just because it passed, but because it is a time when families and friends can get together and have fun. I love Thanksgiving also because of the awesome Thanksgiving sales. The day after Thanksgiving we always go shopping. It is fun because ,some not all but some, people are still in a pretty good mood. That would have to be the reason I like Thanksgiving the most.

What I am Thankful For

I am thankful for a lot of things. I am thankful for my parents, they are the best. I am thankful for my friends who care about me, I am thankful for my church, I am thankful for a place to live that I am not out on the streets, I am thankful for a car to drive so I don't have to walk, I am thankful for my siblings who hopefully love me as much as I do them, I am thankful for money to be able to buy things we need, I am thankful for telephones so we can make phone calls, I am thankful for Becka who will take time everyday and put up with us. Last but not least, I am thankful for Thanksgiving, a time where families can come together and be thankful.

My Thanksgiving Week

Well I am planning on coming here on Monday night for open house. On Tuesday I have to work then go to church. On Wensday I am helping my mom get ready for Thanksgiving Day. On Thursday me and my mom are probaly going to our friends house. Thanksgiving day over there is fun because they have a nintendo and the guys always play football and get all wild. We all play games together,and then we get the ping-pong table out and play that for like two hours. After that we all have desert and talk about things that we remember doing whenwe were younger, and then a whole bunch more people come over for more dessert and for more food. After that we usually go home and go over to our friends house for leftovers.

About the book were reading

Well Rowdy stays at home on the rez beating people up most of the time for no apparent reason, while Junior is going off to the white people school and doing something with his life. Rowdy feels like there is no hope for him, and because of his dad always beating him he feels like that is what he should do. Junior on the other hand feels like he can do something with his life before it is too late.

Junior is a Spokane Indian, and he lives on the reservation.
At Reardon High school Junior is one of the smartest kids, but Gordy is smarter.
Junior has a hard time getting to school, and sometimes he has to walk 22 miles.

About the book I'm reading

Well I think it means it is a true story of an Indian that is at one time lived on the reservation, but now goes to the white people school.I think the author wrote it because it was about him. He was trying to say through the title that he was an Indian on the rez, but at school he was a different person.He went to the white people school because he wanted to be something. He did not want to live on the rez and be a nobody, he wanted to go somewhere to have a little bit of hope.

Technology

Well I really am not in to all that kind of stuff. I like music but I could do without, I don't watch T.V., I am always losing my cellphone, and computers, HA, I barely know how to use them. So you could say living without technology really would not bother me. For some people it is like they can't live without it, but me, who gives a monkeys rump.

About The Book I'm reading!

My first impression would be controlling. I think that they like to have all of them to be together. I don't think they like it that junior went to a different school because he was leaving the reservation. I don't think I would like living on the reservation because they like are very mean to the ones who are weird like junior. They treat them as if they don't matter, and I would hate living in a place that no one cared if they hurt your feelings or not.

Moving Away From My Home!

I have never had to, but if I did I would hate it. One reason is because, hello, that is like the place I lived my whole life. I think I would probably be scared because I would have to start doing thinks a whole new way. I would have to face a new house, with a new room, people with new faces. I think I would be too scared do even do anything. These are the reasons why I would never want to move away.

Junior

He is very ugly, and I would never take a second glance at him. He acts as if he wanted the whole world to revole around him,but really I know he just wanted the people on the reservation to notice him. Junior also does not have a lot of self confidence. His personality is funny, And he has a good sense humor.

Our New Book!!!!

I think it is cool. The author has a good sense of humor,and even though he went through a lot he can make a joke about it instead of trying to make everyone feel sorry for him. I also think it is cool the way he draws cartoon characters.

Overcoming Things.

One of my biggest trialsI have had to overcome was losing my aunt, and my dad getting custody of my brother and sister all in the span of two years. How I got through it may not make sense to you, but it was through prayer. Every time I am going through something I turn to God. Other people turn to drugs and alcohol, but the only way I can get through it is through prayer.

My Life Story

Well there is a lot I can say. When I was three years old I got in church. My dad never liked it so he divorced my mom. My mom had custody of my brother, sister, and I. Even though she did we still had to go to my dads house every other weekend and every other two weeks in the summer. It was hard having to homes. Not only that but my mom and dad argued all the time. My dad had a daughter before he met my mom but she was never really in the picture. Then he got re-married after he left my mom and had another son with her. Thank God he is still with her.

Three in a half years ago my dad decided to make life miserable for my whole family. He fought for custody and in the middle of that he ruined my life.He lied on my mom and they gave him emergency custody. He refused to even let us talk to our mom and when she came to get us he told us to go in the room and not come out. Now don't get me wrong he didn't abuse us. He was just a liar and a control freak. My mom had to have the cops physically get us out. So the day came for us to finally go home and my two older siblings said they were going to the store and all along my dad helped them plan to run away. It was the hardest year of my life. Eventually my dad got custody of my brother and sister, but something to rub in his face, he didn't get me.
