Formal Letter

Dear Rebekah,
The things I want to improve on in this class are my reading skills. I also want to improve my writing skills, and my ability to understand things I have never been able to understand before. I would have to say that this class has helped me do all those things, but I also feel like I can improve some more, and I know that if I apply myself good enough I will have all those things done in no time.

My Boss!!!

My boss is the best. I think so highly of her because 1. we go to church together, 2. she is fun, caring, kind, giving. One of the thinks my boss is not is selfish, she is not stingy with her money or time. I love it that she is in my life. I have the best job in the world, even though I get minimum wage and part time hours, I still have the best job, and the best boss.

The Portrait!!!

This poem is about a mother who is angry about her husband killing himself and leaving her pregnant.When the baby was born she still had a lot of anger .She has so much bitterness and hate she does not even want to see his picture and when the child brings the picture down from the attic she slaps the child . I think the author wrote it to tell people she still remembered it and if anyone is going through something like that they can get through it. I like this poem because it has a lot of meaning and it is well written.

First Poem!!!!!!!!!

School is so cool,
Like swimming in a pool,
I love the way my brain is a tool,
But sometimes I feel like the biggest fool.

My Weekend!!!!!!!!

T weekend I am going with my youth group to one of the scariest haunted houses in OR, and it is going to be so much fun. It is called thirteen doors and it is in Portland, and it is in the basement and you have to go through all these doors and each door is different and they freak you out pretty bad. It is going to be great.his

My favorite Song

I think it would be "Just A Dream" by Carrie Underwood. The song is about a girl who just turned 18 and is engaged to a guy in the military, and on the day of her wedding on her way to the church she finds out he died,and so the song is about her wanting it to be just a dream because she is so sad she does not want to believe it.It is my favorite because it is one I can kind of relate to, not that I have a boyfriend in the military, but my uncle is in the Navy and my cousins fiance is in the Navy. That is why I like that song.

Why People write Poetry

Well people write it because for some people I hear it helps relax them. For some people it is just a hobby, but really I can't tell you why people write poetry except that that is what they like to do. I would never be able to do it because I do not have a way with words, but there are some people who when they write that is all that they write. I think that is weird, but that is my opinion.

My Job!!!!!

My job is not the most important in the world ,but it is fun. I work with a bunch of kids. They are all very wild. My job consists of cleaning, and constantly saying "NO GET DOWN ", or "Your going to break that", But then I get feedback like," YOU ARE NOT MY MOM", or "Nina a.k.a Christina lets me. Yeah that's what my Job is, But I am not complaining just saying how crazy working at a day care is.

The Place I Never Want To go again!!!!!!!

It would probably be my dads house, not that he is evil or anything but every time I went to visit him he always tried to get me to live with him and he always lied on my mom and it made me mad. Another reason why I don't ever want to go there again is he always tried to control me, by saying your church is brain washing you so come live with me, or he would try and tell me my mom did not love me so really by doing that he caused me to never want to go over there again.

The Place I Feel Most at Home!

I think I would consider my church to be most like home to me because I am there all the time and that is where I would rather be all the time. I feel peaceful when I go there. I feel all my problems vanish when I go there. I know that this may sound crazy, but that is just how I feel. That is the only place outside of my real home that gives me such a peaceful feeling.

My September 11th Expericence

I remember waking up that fateful day 8 years ago to my mom saying "oh my goodness " over and over. Me and my brother and sister ran out there so scared and my mom was listening to the radio. It looked like she was going to cry and she said that the World Trade Centers have just been hit.I had no idea what they were. It was not until I found out the importance of what those buildings were that I understood why people were so sad. Than I was sad to think of all those families who lost dads, moms, brothers ,and sisters and I still had mine. I still to this day think of those families and at what could have been if those terrorists would not have done what they did.

Anywhere In The World!!!!!!!

If I could go anywhere in the world it would be England. I think it would be cool because England has a lot of castles and their accent sound cool. I think going to all the castles and seeing all the sights would we a good learning experience. I would love to go and be able to see the King and Queen of England. Just to be able to walk in the castle would be great. If I were to go to England and be able to walk and talk with the princess I would probably think it was a dream. Those are the reasons I would love to go to England.

My Ideal Day!!!!

My ideal day would probably be walking somewhere with the leaves falling. I would go on a walk with my friends and we would go have ice cream and then we would go to my best friends house and stay up until the crack of dawn then go to bed Then we would get up and go to school.

Most Embarrasing Moment

I think it would have to be when I was in middle school about 4th grade and I was walking out of the bathroom and there was a really cute boy and so I was trying to act all that, when my friend came up to me and said "You have toilet paper hanging out your skirt ." I was so embarrassed I almost started crying. Later my friend told me that like everyone saw . I was horrified , but I soon got over it.
